PRAGUE
NIGHTLIFE - BARS AND CLUBS
As
with most European cities there are lots of Bars
and Clubs in Prague. Keeping track of the which
are the ‘Cool’ places to go is quite difficult
as it seems that once they become ‘Cool’
and well known they are no longer the place to be seen.
You
can pick up a listings magazine that will tell you what’s
on and where to go for the best in Prague Nightlife
in most hotels and hostels and decide yourself. We’ve
listed some here that are worth checking out. Bars are
open all day and the clubs usually kick off around 11pm
and stay open until about 4am. If you looking to keep
the party going after 4am you will find some clubs that
stay open later.
Bambus
Bar
This bar has a good mixed crowd of locals and tourists.
It’s quite laid back and has some good music going
on in the background. We like it!
Roxy
Club
If you’re into house and dance music then you
should pay the Roxy a visit. Some of the biggest European
and International DJ’s play here. They sometimes
have major act dance bands playing here as well.
James
Joyce Bar
Yes you guess it – an Irish Bar. You’ll
always find a big crowd in here but not so much the
locals. It’s full of ex-pats and tourist looking
for a good night out and that’s what you’ll
find.
Karloyy
Lazne Club
This is a huge club. If you like you clubbing then try
this place out. It’s situated in the Old Town
close to Charles Bridge. A lot of the locals go here
so it must be good.
Klub
Ujezd
This club has two floors with hard dance on the lower
ground floor and softer sounds on the upper floor. It’s
got a really nice mixed crowd and worth checking out.
Caffreys
Bar
Another Irish bar but this time it’s situated
in the Old Town Square. They serve some really good
food at reasonable prices so maybe worth a visit at
the start of the night. They also have satellite TV
so if there’s a big game you want to watch that
check out Cafferys.
Duplex
Club
This club and café bar in located in the centre
of Wencelas Square. The club in at the very top of a
tall building and there are stunning views of Prague.
Worth checking out for the view alone.
