After
crossing Charles Bridge from Prague Castle, you reach
the Old Town, Stare Mesto. Here is one of the best-preserved
medieval capitals in Europe. After you wander your
way from Charles Bridge to the Old Town Square through
narrow winding roads, head through the Square and
up to the Jewish Quarter, Josefov,
Joseph’s town. Kafka is buried in the Prague’s
New Jewish Cemetery.
There is also the Old Jewish Cemetery that is particularly
reminiscent of another age.
