Wenceslas
Square Prague is not a Square at all but
more a gracious boulevard – a wide wide street
leading up to the National Museum. The National Museum
is a neo renaissance building dating from the late
19th Century and it dominates this end of Wencelas
Square Prague . Look for the impressive statue
of St Wenceslas on horseback, facing back down the
street as if watching over it.
This area was the scene of many notable historic
events in the 20th Century.
